Lead times, Warranties, Cancellations and Exchanges Policies
LEAD TIMES- All products are built to order and lead times are typically 10-12 business days. Occasionally lead times are at a minimum of 5-7 business days, or 12-20 business days, depending on order volumes. If you need to know a specific time frame, please contact us to inquire.
CRAFTSMANSHIP WARRANTY- Being that all products are built to order, all sales are final. However, we do uphold a craftsmanship warranty. Meaning that we guarantee product fitment. We do recognize that mistakes happen, and we will remedy the situation at our expense if found that fitment is our fault. In order to honor our craftsmanship warranty, we will require photos of the fitment issue. We value and are proud of our customer support. We love to assist customers with installation. However, we also know that some people lack the mechanically inclined ability to perform some installs. If we reach a point during installation where we can no longer assist you, we advise one of two things- 1- Have a professional offroad install shop install the products. Provide them with installation videos/instructions, as well as 6 Monkeys contact information. We'll be happy to assist them. 2- Bring your vehicle & products to us! We're guaranteed to beat any other shop price and installation times. Plus, we don't get visitors often, and love to give facility tours!
COATING WARRANTY- All products have three coats of Coating applied to them. Coating is dry to the touch within a few hours, and safe to ship within 24 hours. However, the coating takes up to 4 weeks to completely cure. We do not advise full contact use for 4 weeks after receiving the product. being that we produce offroad components that do take abuse, we cannot warranty our coating. However, we do have touch up kits available to touch up your products with flawless results. We understand that different regions are more or less harsh on coatings. We highly recommend coating your products with a Ceramic Armor prior to installation for better protection in harsher climates. You can find Ceramic Armor in our "It's The Little Things" category, along with touch up kits.
CANCELLATION POLICY- If an order is cancelled prior to the start of the build, we will refund 100% of the order. If an order is cancelled after the product is started in the build process, we will refund 80% of the purchase price. (20% stocking and cancellation fee is applied). If an order is cancelled after the product has shipped, it is the consumers responsibility to ship the product back to us for an 80% refund (a 20% restocking and refurbishing fee applies). *Custom, Special, and Optioned products are non refundable and cannot be cancelled once the order is placed*
EXCHANGES POLICY- We do recognize that sometimes an order is placed, and we send the ordered part, to later find out that it is not the part the customer actually wanted. In this case we will send verification of the order and work with the customer to resolve the issue. If it is found that the customer is at fault, we will exchange the part at the customers expensive of shipping two ways, as well as refurbishing fees. If you're in doubt before placing your order, contact us. We will be happy to assist you!
SHIPPING- Once products leave our facility, all is out of our control. We do our best to package everything in a manor to best protect your products during transit. Sometimes we overdo it. Although rare, occasionally a parcel distribution employee who hates their job tosses a package like an empty banana peel. If your order happens to be one of these, take pictures, and email us prior to opening your package. If you open your package and find damage, take pictures of the product as well as the packaging. If a solution cannot be easily remedied (hammer, touchup kit, etc...), we will replace your order and file a claim with our shipping partner. We do purchase shipping insurance for every package that leaves our facility.

All purchasers have the option of picking the item up or arranging for third-party transportation services on their own. Please contact us at sixmonkeysflorida@gmail.com to opt-out of economy shipping and to arrange for pickup of your item. 6 Monkeys LLC is licensed to collect and remit sales & use tax for customers in FL, KS, & PA, but no other location. For legal reasons, all prices advertised on our website should be interpreted as the total cost of the item itself (including FL/KS/PA sales tax if applicable), and not for any shipping related charges or sales/use tax for non-FL/KS/PA customers. For domestic buyers, 6 Monkeys LLC will gladly incur economy shipping charges in a separate transaction and on a separate invoice from the customer's purchase. Because 6 Monkeys LLC is not required to collect sales tax from all states, you may owe use tax if your billing address is outside of FL, KS, or PA. This is especially true for Vermont customers (see below for details). All customers should check with their state's taxing authority to pay any applicable use tax on purchased items.
